Full time courses

• Improve your English in every way - Our full time English courses are designed to help you with your speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar. All the grammar and vocabulary you study is based on Cambridge exam material.


• You and your classmates choose what you want to learn - We use a negotiated syllabus, which means that every two weeks you, the student, choose what you want to study in class. Eden School is the only school in Ireland currently using this unique syllabus system.


• No more big classes and teachers that can’t speak English! - Our class sizes are small, we use unique authentic materials in our classes, and all our teachers are fully qualified English native speakers with years of experience.


• Real feedback from your teacher - We give you a certificate at the end of your course, and you have the option of getting a full report from your teacher.
  

  The classes are from 9.30am - 12.45pm, Monday to Friday.

• The levels are:
  • Elementary - CEF level A1- A2
  • Pre Intermediate - CEF level A2-B1
  • Intermediate - CEF level B1-B2
  • Upper Intermediate - CEF level B2-C1

• Did you know that Ireland is the only country outside the UK with a Cambridge First Certificate exam in August 2009?


• Did you also know that it’s up to 50% cheaper to do the FCE exam in Ireland than it is in England?

Why choose Eden School of English?

• We teach you what you really need to know, and you don’t need expensive books - In these classes you will learn about each part of the First Certificate exam, and you will use real examples from the exam. You don’t need to buy any materials for the course, as all the materials are provided free of any extra charge.


• You get the opportunity to do a real FCE Speaking exam - In the third week of the course you will do an example FCE Speaking test. This is the same as the real exam, and you will receive a pass/borderline/fail grade and a feedback sheet after your exam.


• Your teacher can answer any questions you have - Your teacher is a fully qualified native English speaker, with years of experience teaching FCE and CAE.

Part time courses

Our part time courses are perfect for students who are in full time employment and want to ‘top-up’ their language skills, or for students who just want to study two days a week in the evening.

These classes are designed to help you with each of the key skills in English - Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Grammar construction. The class sizes are normally small, and you are not expected to buy a book, as we provide all the materials you need free of any extra charge.

The teacher is a native English speaker, with years of experience. Just like our full time courses, each of the levels is designed around the Cambridge exams, and is mapped the Council of Europe framework - (level b1-b2, level b2-c1)

The classes are from 19:00 - 21.00, every Monday and Wednesday
